Project overview

Jungle mountain biking at its best, Smithfield is close to the hearts of all Aussie MTB riders. The first venue in the southern hemisphere to host a World Cup, Smithfield hosted two World Cup rounds and the World Championships back in the 1990’s. With some vision from the local mountain bike community and some elbow grease from World Trail, World Cup racing returned to Smithfield in 2014, and 2016, and the facility hosted its second UCI World MTB Championships to industry acclaim in September 2017.
