Blue Derby – a name that reverberates through the Australian mountain biking community as a standard-setter, a destination that every rider aspires to conquer. With an extensive network of over 120km of specialised mountain bike trails, this is where champions are born and challengers are welcomed.
The trails here are as diverse as the riders they invite – catering to all skill sets, styles and daring spirits. But it’s not just about the ride, it’s about the journey. Immerse yourself in the pristine, untouched surroundings that enhance every pedal stroke, every airborne second and every hard-earned descent.
Recognised on the global stage, Blue Derby hosted the second round of the Enduro World Series in 2017, putting Australia on the map for trail mastery. It wasn’t just a host but a champion in its own right. The ‘Detonate’ trail, a fan favourite and second stage of the Derby EWS event, won the highly coveted ‘Trail of the Year’ award, cementing Blue Derby’s place in trail-building lore.
