Situated along the sun-kissed shores of Miami, Gold Coast, the Pizzey Park Pump Track yearns to riders of all levels with segmented areas for beginners, intermediates, and competition-grade enthusiasts. The largest facility of its kind across Australia, its inception stemmed from a thorough design process, meticulously orchestrated by a multidisciplinary project team. Comprising Graphic Designers, Landscape Architects, Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineers, and Environmental Scientists, this collaborative effort navigated through Concept Design, Detailed Design, and For Construction documentation phases with precision.
Remarkably, this endeavour not only showcases cutting-edge design but also redefines sustainable development practices. Construction completed atop a former landfill site, this multi-million-dollar small-scale civil construction project transforms previously vacant land with limited development potential into what is becoming a cherished community asset, symbolizing a triumph of environmental stewardship and community engagement. Moreover, the inclusion of unique structural elements and progressive track feature designs further spotlight this venture, underscoring its status as a beacon of modernity and inclusivity in recreational infrastructure.
