Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of the Yarra Ranges, the Wesburn Pump Track emerges as a bespoke creation for the Yarra Ranges Council, marking a significant addition to the region’s vibrant outdoor culture. From the outset, we at World Trail were entrusted with the full spectrum of this project, steering it from a budding concept through to the complexities of detailed design and meticulous construction. The journey was one of collaboration and innovation, resulting in a track layout that aligns with the council’s vision and packs every inch with excitement and challenges for its riders.

Tackling the repurposing of an existing recreational area, we navigated through a maze of logistical and environmental considerations, from conducting precise directional drilling to vacuum truck removal, all while preserving the site’s natural beauty and tree protection zones. The Wesburn Pump Track is designed to delight and challenge riders of all skill levels, featuring dual double race loops, an expansive outer loop, and dedicated tracks for intermediate and beginner enthusiasts.

Poised to become the beating heart of the Warburton Mountain Bike destination, this pump track stands at the gateway to adventure, offering riders not just a trail but a comprehensive experience with nearby amenities like coffee shops, rider facilities, and shuttle services, making it the perfect launchpad into the Yarra Ranges’ wild allure.
